 Edgar\'s Mission is a registered Australian not-for-profit charity, dedica
 ted to providing a lifelong safe haven for rescued farmed animals. Founded
  in 2003 on a beautiful property in Lancefield, Victoria, the sanctuary is
  currently home to over 500 rescued residents-including pigs, sheep, goats
 , cows, chickens, and turkeys. As a community-funded organization, they re
 ly almost entirely on the kindness of everyday donors and volunteers to pr
 ovide food, shelter, and specialized veterinary care. Edgar\'s Mission is 
 endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR), meaning any individual dona
 tion of $2 or more is fully tax-deductible for Australian taxpayers. ❤�
 � Supporting Edgar\'s Mission Edgar\'s Mission is an official, community-f
 unded Australian charity home to over 500 rescued farmed animals. While th
 ey do not charge an entry fee, we ask all attendees to bring a $5 cash don
 ation, which our club will proudly match dollar-for-dollar.  Because they
  are a registered Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR), any individual donation

 eet at Bourkies Bakehouse (115 High Street, Woodend) for morning coffee, a
  bite to eat, and a chat. 9:45 AM – DepartureWe depart Woodend for a sce
 nic, leisurely cruise through the countryside. 10:20 AM – ArrivalArrive 
 at Edgar\'s Mission (Lancefield). 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM – Guided Sanctua
 ry TourWe will embark on a 90-minute circuit tour to meet the rescued anim
 als, hear their inspiring stories, and learn about the history of how Edga
 r\'s Mission was established. You will also have time to browse their on-s
 ite gift shop. 12:30 PM – LunchWe will head to the 1860 Hotel (119 Main 
 Street, Romsey) for a sit-down lunch and social catch-up to wrap up the da

  To respect the bio-security and safety protocols of the sanctuary, please
  ensure you note the following:  Footwear Requirement: Visitors must wear 
 clean walking shoes that have not recently been in contact with other farm
  animals or foreign soil. Sun Protection & Hydration: Please bring a hat, 
 sunscreen, and your own water bottle. Fitness Level: The 90-minute walking
  tour is gentle and suitable for all fitness levels.  RSVP is strictly Sun
 day 25th October, via the website or by emailing  Our Midweek Run is held 
 on the 4th Wednesday of every month. Members enjoy a day cruising to local
  attractions, stopping for morning tea and then visiting unique venues wit
 h plenty of variety for everyone. Lunch is usually at one of the local caf
 es, wineries or pubs or sometime a picnic in the park. Everyone is welcome
  to come and join in on these fun monthly day trips.
