Our July Cars and Chatter meetup was another roaring success, with members gathering to share stories, admire classic machines and enjoy a superb lunch of seafood chowder and roti, prepared by the club's own culinary maestro, Ted Delia.
Our librarian, Alec Mead had invited the Macedon Ranges Shire Mayor, Kate Kendall to join us for lunch in our clubrooms to catch up with members, her visit added a touch of civic pride to a day filled with friendship and lively discussions about all things automotive - a true celebration of community spirit and motoring passion.
The days surprise was provided by the talented Graeme Twycross, who brought along his creation "Rustine' a high-octane dame born from the soul of the workshop. She looks like the kind of woman who prefers the smell of petrol over perfume, possessing a rugged grace that only welds, gears, and weathered steel could create.". Congratulations Graeme, she is a credit to your creative thinking.
