The Annual Bowling Challenge: A Fantastic Night Between Two Clubs
The rivalry was friendly but the competition was fierce at our recent Annual Bowling Challenge against the Western Vehicle Restorers Club (WVRC). Held at Zone Bowling Watergardens, the event brought together 20 participants across both clubs, with everyone playing two games in a bid for bowling glory.
The energy across the lanes was electric, filled with yells of delight, high fives, and plenty of friendly banter. It was a true team effort, so much so that a few participants nursing tired arms had to call in fresh replacement players to help cross the finish line.
After the final pins crashed, everyone moved over to the Sports Bar, taking up an entire room for a fantastic evening of camaraderie. Over hearty meals and cold drinks, the conversation flowed easily with plenty of club bonding and car talk.
The night concluded with dinner and the official presentations. While the Western Vehicle Restorers Club took home the overall team victory this year, it was a exceptionally good afternoon and night of sport and friendship. Congratulations to WVRC, and we are already looking forward to next year's rematch!
