Watsons Road, Diggers Rest Level Crossing Bridge Opening

This milestone event marked Melbourne's 88th level crossing removal, permanently separates trains from vehicles, ensuring safer travel for the growing Diggers Rest community.

The opening was celebrated with a special event featuring 19 classic cars from the Macedon Ranges and District Motor Club testing the new bridge, it was great fun.

Josh Bull, MP for Sunbury, joined our members to be the first to cross the brand-new Watson's Road bridge this week.
